APK is stand for Android Package Kit. This is a package file format
use by Android operating system for distribution and installation of mobile
apps. It is similar to use an exe file to install to windows operating system.
If you download App for your Android device, it will install
automatically in to your device there for you may not see the APK file. But if
you want to install an app manually yourself you can see the APK file. While
you download these APK files you have to be careful about reliability of the
source where you download.

How to Install
APK file
First you have to prepare your device for installation.
- Open settings screen on your device.
- Tap on “Security” bar
- Tap on the check box next to unknown sources where installations of apps from unknown sources.
- Click ok on the warning massage to continue.
Once you check this box you can install apps from APK file
without needing to visit Google play Store.
Now your device is ready for installing APK files.
You can get your APK file as an email attachment or download
it from web. If it is email just click on “install”. If you download APK from
the web you can find it in your Download folder of your device.
